Work with clients, both paid and pro-bono, to reveal family history that is unknown and answer genealogical questions which require complex research techniques. Clients receive a research plan outlining the best path forward for their genealogical needs. At the conclusion of research a family history report is provided outlining the research completed, the results of the research and suggested next steps. Research is done both online and through document requests to various repositories within the United States, Canada and Europe.
Fundamentals of Investigative Genetic Genealogy
A comprehensive training course through Florida International University, with instruction by Joan Hanlon of United Data Connect, one of the premier Investigative Genetic Genealogists in the country. Coursework included working on an active unsolved case using state of the art DNA matching tools and genealogical research.
My degree was completed at the University of Colorado - Denver with honors. A degree in history provides knowledge of events and historical context needed to locate hard to find records and hard to find individuals. I have the genealogical and historical knowledge required to find individuals and provide clear and concise reports on research findings.
